    The Easton PTA Mission

    The Easton PTA is a volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the learning experience of our children at home and at school. We promote programs that enrich and excite our children, and support the efforts of our parents and teachers. We strive to create an environment that fosters better communication among the school, home, and our town.

    Membership is renewed on an annual basis. We are an “opt-in” school which means we can only include information provided/confirmed by our members each year. The directory can only include current members.

    Also, for children attending SSES only, please be sure to enter your child’s teacher so our class lists can be as complete as possible.

    ER9 Board of Education Budget Meetings

    Due to a drastic reduction in state funds that you may have heard about in the news, this budget cycle is gearing up to be a difficult one. Cuts in our education budget are likely and the Board of Education will be faced with some tough decisions. We strongly encourage you to become informed, ask questions and stand up for what you feel to be important for your children's education. There is an opportunity for public comment at these meetings. Other important dates are:


    January 23, Monday 7:30pm BOE Budget Workshop HKMS

    February 13, Monday 7:30pm BOE Budget Workshop HKMS

    February 15, Wednesday 7:30 BOE Budget Workshop (if needed) HKMS


    The PTA will be holding several budget information events over the next few months (more information forthcoming).

    Easton PTA meetings are held throughout the school year. For a full list of this year's meetings, click on the Agenda button on the top right corner of the calendar below. 

    Both members and non-members of the PTA are welcome to attend.

    Refreshments are available and meetings typically last one to one and a half hours.
