Town and Region 9 Budget Referendum
Tuesday May 2nd,
SSES Gym from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm
Please Vote YES for Schools’ Budget Increase of 0.584% (translates to a total K-8 yearly of $15,837,858)
The Board of Education has worked very hard to present a fiscally responsible budget that preserves things that Easton parents believe are important for their children’s education.
Any further reductions would be devastating and would mean larger class sizes, staff reductions, cuts to programs (such as Discrete Math at HKMS) and cuts to extracurricular activities at HKMS.
The largest drivers of this budget are non- discretionary items such as contractual salary obligations, Special Education, operation and maintenance and health insurance. Considerable reduction have been made from the initial proposal in January, but the core integrity of the excellent education Easton parents expect for their children has been maintained.

Vote YES to the Region 9 BOE increase of 2.18%
