Media Center Volunteers

The PTA provides parent volunteers to help in the media center at each school on an as-needed basis. You must be a member of the PTA to be a media center volunteer. For more information, contact s committee chairperson.

Membership

The Membership Chairperson solicits new members for the PTA, and maintains membership records. For more information, contact the PTA Membership Chairperson.

Operation Respect

The Operation Respect committee developed the Safe Surfing manual for all Easton students, and develops other anti-bullying programs. For more information, contact a PTA Executive Board member.

Parent University/Family University

The Parent University committee implements and advertises programs of interest for PTA members and the community at large.

Volunteers Needed - Volunteers are needed to secure speakers, facility, and refreshments for Family University nights. Contact the committee chairperson to volunteer.

Picture Day

The Picture Day committee coordinates school portraits taken at the school by selecting the photographer and coordinating the specifics of picture day at both SSES and HKMS. For more information, contact a committee chairperson.

topPie Sale

The PTA sponsors an annual pie sale in the fall at both schools. The pies arrive just before Thanksgiving. If you ordered pies, you can pick them in the HKMS cafeteria on November 24, 2008, between 2:30-5 PM. For more information, contact a committee chairperson.

PTA Website

The PTA maintains a website to keep Easton families informed about PTA happenings. For more information, contact the committee chairperson.

Reflections

Each year the National PTA Reflections program recognizes outstanding student works in literature, musical composition, photography, and visual arts. The Easton PTA gives students an opportunity to create art that supports a specific theme through literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts. The Reflections committee distributes Reflections Contest literature to HKMS and SSES, collects students work, and helps judge the work for local level winners.
